I took some photos during the senior race and just after, i've posted 11 so far and will add more as I sort them out, I think i've got 25 in total.

Thanks Stephen. It's good to have some photos of the course after the marking out was removed - to show how little damage the race did to the park this year. This is in marked contrast to last year, when the grass cut-up badly after a very wet autumn.

I'm already thinking that we will stick with the same course routes next year, but if anyone has any suggestions, I'm happy to take them on board.

The ground soon recovered after last year, the dog walkers who walk the same route every day do far more damage in the winter.

One thing about the course is where you go downhill to start the wooded uphill section you turn in 'blind' especially if you take the faster inside of the track, so there's crash potential. Maybe the downhill part could loop outwards for just a few yards at the bottom so riders go in with a clear view?
